If you are looking for a good electrician that is on time, professional and reasonable, I highly recommend Sugar Land Electric. They replaced an under cabinet light in the kitchen. I am 100% satisfied with this company.

Replaced underground feeders from transformer to meter, with new wires in a new PVC pipe, 18″ below the ground. They had to dig a trench approximately 60 ft. long and approximately 20″ deep. Replaced the dirt and grass neatly, left the area clean, and did an excellent job.

After the lights were continuously dimming and there were popping sounds when turning on various appliances in the house, we discovered there was a variance in the voltage and that the neutral wire was no longer functioning properly. Consequently, we had to replace the underground wire that runs from the meter to the transformer.

We obtained quotes from several companies, and Sugar Land Electric presented the best quote. They started the work as promised. They answered any/all questions and did an excellent job. We will not hesitate to recommend them to others and will not hesitate to use them again for other electrical needs.

Ceiling fan installed, outlets fixed, doorbell fixed, thermostat installed. Very happy with work done and plan to have them come back to do more work for me.

Great experience. I am building manager for a small two-story office building in the Galleria area. I had used their services once about a year ago to install a light fixture and was satisfied with everything they did. This time, I had an intermittent electrical problem that was tripping a breaker but trouble-shooting the problem was difficult and challenging. There was some confusion about the electrician’s arrival time but we worked that out. He came out and got started one afternoon late, and returned to finish the following day. It was raining so he had to contend with that on top of the issue at hand, and he also had to deal with tenants in the building who felt like he needed their input to solve the problem. He was very professional, courteous, and friendly. He was thorough and honest about the problem and its solution. I had him address other electrical issues while he was here, such as changing a ballast for a light fixture, changing light bulbs, etc. He was great. I plan to request him on a regular periodic basis for servicing lights, etc. Thanks, Clint and Sugar Land Electric! Absolutely great.

After purchasing two new light fixtures for our kitchen and dining room, we phoned Sugar Land Electric to make an appointment with them. Surprisingly, they were able to assign an electrician to come the same day to do the work. The electrician (Bobby) arrived right on time. His main concern was placing the new light fixtures at the exact heights we desired. He did his work in a timely way. He was polite with a great sense of humor. We know Sugar Land Electric charged us a fair price and will be happy to call them again for any electrical work we need done.

The Owner, Dave, installed a sub-panel to power a garage air conditioner, Added a full house surge protector to the main panel, installed a new chandelier in our two story foyer and fixed a problematic light switch. He spent most of the afternoon with us and was a pleasure to be around. His work was first class and I was sure the cost was going to be much more than the final bill. He spent a lot of time with us and I could not be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend Dave and his firm of Sugar Land Electric.

Sugar Land Electric ran new wire between the junction box and the control box for my swimming pool equipment. Installed new light switch and GFCI breaker.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Sugar Land Electric. I called them on an emergency basis when my pool pump quit working, and the pool service person told me it was an electrical issue. The electrician arrived at my home about 30 minutes after my phone call, and after assessing the situation, he explained clearly what had happened, and also how the repairs would be performed. There was a short in the underground wire(s) caused by construction damage last year. I was aware of that damage, and had called John M**** at that time to fix the problem. Their remedy was to tape the wires together! Bobby, the electrician, explained that after a period of time, moisture gets into the PVC pipe and then the wire shorts out. He said the only safe and reliable method of repair was to run new wires from the junction box to the control box. He scheduled another appointment with me so that he could come back with an assistant to help him run the wires through the existing PVC pipe.
They arrived when scheduled, and completed the work in a very satisfactory manner. The GFCI circuit which John M**** had installed and charged me a fortune for, had never been working properly, much to my alarm. When Sugar Land Electric finished, everything was working fine, including a new switch and GFCI for the swimming pool light. They were extremely professional … Bobby is a great guy to work with and has a fun sense of humor, which helped to relieve some of the stress I was going through. They cleaned up everything after work was completed, and best of all ….. charged about $150.00 LESS than the original estimate. Almost unheard of these days!
